Description sedrubal 2015-12-09 00:13:35 UTC
I did not find any possibility to assign a role to a folder or something like that: I miss the feature that kmail uses the drafts, sent, junk and trash folder per account instead of the folders in "Local Folders".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add multiple (imap) accounts to kmail
2. send a message from one account (e.g. foomail)

Actual Results:
the sent message is in "Local Folders"/Sent...

Expected Results:
... and not in "foomail"/Sent

see kmail->configure->identity
Comment 2 sedrubal 2015-12-09 23:45:45 UTC
Ah oops ok I didn't expected it there, but that's ok.

But I think this should be automatically detected and I'm missing settings for junk and trash.
Comment 3 sedrubal 2016-01-21 21:56:41 UTC
But why is trash folder in kmail>configure>accounts(>advanced) and not in ...>identity, too?

And what about finding this folders automatically?

How about closing bugs that are not valid ones? And asking user instructions elsewhere. You're piling valid reports under these.
Comment 5 sedrubal 2017-03-02 14:54:46 UTC
I think the issue which will solve my confusion is, that KMail should use the special folders from the account and not use "Local Folders"/... by default. Please tell me if I should open a new issue for that if we can discus it here or you can also close this as wontfix.
