The tool tips (hover over tool for short description or name) in some applications (e.g. GIMP, Inkscape, Aptana Studio) have next to no contrast with a light background and light text color. In other apps (e.g. Krita, Thunderbird) it works perfectly fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open GIMP or Inkscape 2. Hover over tool (see screenshot) 3. Try to read tool tip Actual Results: text is barely readable due to lack of contrast Expected Results: light background, dark text colour (like in thunderbird) The system colors seem to be dark background, light text color (dolphin, system activity, network-manager, etc.) while thunderbird (and others such as krita, owncloud-client) seem to be using their own colors (light background which differs between apps and a dark text color)

... should be assigned to gtk theme
a gtk component would be needed under breeze product
@Marco Yes. And in the meanwhile reassigning to "general". This is not QStyle, and I should not be assigned to the bug (because I do not know how to fix)
Anything I can do to help with this problem? Any information I can provide?
