keytab screenshot

hello, due to strong restrictions on machines all configuration files are deleted on regular basis, so in order to keep my sanity I started to use keytab schemas to get all my aliases and few functions to a single key binding so this way I am able to set the shell to my liking.

but while trying to 'fix' one of work related issues I came up with a function which uses * in it to compare string, but when using keytab, the * asterisk is changed to 1 even when its written as \x2A (hexadecimal ascii code for the *). this effectively stops the function from running.

here is the line from my keytab which returns \1 1 1
key F4-AnyModifier : "\* * \x2A"

I was only been able to test this on a very old version of konsole 2.3.3, I will try to reproduce it on newer version this evening.

Same strange effect on konsole 18.08.1, KDE Frameworks 5.50.0,
Qt 5.11.1 (compiled against 5.11.1), in current KDE neon (based on Ubuntu 18.04):

\x2A or * always leads to "5",
\\x2A renders to "\5", see screenshot.

Please note: identical output of "5" insstead of "*" results if another trigger (key combination), different from "5+Ctrl", is used.
