I'd like to see some enhancements to "org.kde.plasma.activitybar": - support for activity icons: configurable as - Only Icons - Icons + Name - Only Name - support for stopped activities - to prevent cluttering the list with stopped activities, they could be provided through an applet popup - similar to the systray, where inactive SNI items are only accessible through the popup and active move into the permanently visible area - clicking on a stopped activity will start it, change the plasmashell context to it and move it to the list of active items - does this also mean, that there should be a way to stop an activity?
Currently 'Activities' widget already have start/stop abilities. Not sure about need of icons for them
> Currently 'Activities' widget already have start/stop abilities. Not sure about need of icons for them This is not about the "Activities Panel", but about the "Activities" widget (org.kde.plasma.activitybar).
(In reply to Elias Probst from comment #2) > This is not about the "Activities Panel", but about the "Activities" widget > (org.kde.plasma.activitybar). Sorry for misunderstanding. 'Stop activity' entry could be added to right click menu on started activities. Also 'General' settings from 'Pager' widget could be used for displaying/not displaying activities' names, icons and 'Show desktop' functionality after selecting current activity
