Description Gregor Mi 2015-11-22 15:10:17 UTC
Currently, I use KShutdown for time-delayed shutdown of my machine.

After the first logon after the shutdown, the panel was missing and it took long time (20 seconds) until the splash screen with the 100% progressbar disappeared. I hit Ctrl+Alt+Backspace+Backspace and logged on again. Then everything was fine again.

=> A forced shutdown (I assume KShutdown does not care about Plasma) seems to affect the Plasma configuration.

Is there a softer way to have the system do a time-delayed shutdown?

Can't confirm/reproduce in:

Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition - Stable Branches
Plasma: 5.11.3
Frameworks: 5.41.0
Qt: 5.9.2
Kernel 4.10.0-40-generic
Type: 64-bit
Comment 2 Gregor Mi 2017-12-01 11:54:24 UTC
I use now latest Plasma 5.11.3 and cannot reproduce either. Closing the bug.
