I think this is right: what is the meaning of theses colors? I have troubles to see what the buttons do so I have either to read or to strongly focus on the small symbol in the button.

The one before where very readable I think.

system icons smaller than <= 22px are monochrome (e.g. panel, status bar, ...) and >= 32px colored. So the icons are easy to recognize in small size.
