In the tabs input/output device, there is a small button with a red icon representing a speaker. If the status is mute, the background is blue if not it is not blue. I tried to switch to mute from here without success: clicking on the button doesn't do anything. It should turn the sound to mute. A second problem (but related to this) is that the blue background on the button doesn't make much sense. I thought it was mute because it was red, until i changed it to mute with my keyboard and realize the difference. It should be black when it's on, red when mute. Thx! Reproducible: Always
Mute button was changed to ToolButton and icon was changed in Breeze (no longer red). It should no longer be confusing.
