Dear developers!

Please excuse for long delays I get only once a month to the NetCafé.
:-(

Here is the output of Cygnus' ``ls -laF´´ of the directory

``D:\home\gnor\Internet\E-mail\Entwurf´´

on my NT4SP5 which I momentarily run due to legacy contents. Look at
this path name and you'll know. ;-) It is a research project as well
especially for criminal prosecution.

It is double spaced to prevent MED's (nice powerful editor for Windows
has put Emacs 20.7 on place two) word wrap (applies to Emacs and other
editors as well) from messing it up.

Word wrap had its paw on line breaks but that shouldn't mess you up.
;-)

You know that KFM orders the columns a little bit different than ``ls´´
and has additional columns too.

The idea is to circle through the permissions by just clicking on them
like in the properties dialogue of TkDesk.

The difference is that this is done *directly* in Details View.

If there are any additional ACL entries they will show up in a tool
tip or bubble help or whatever you call this.

In font of the permissions there will be a tree expansion box like the
various tree views in KFM Explorer etc. or the triangle in Finder or
Mozilla or what any other skin theme etc. uses for this purpose.

Clicking on it will expand the underlying ACL like any sub tree in a
tree view and the UID and GID columns will show the appropriate entries
for that ACL entry.

The *real* owner of the file will be *always* on top aligned with the
file line in Details View to distinguish it from the ACL.

Both in the right-click menu and the INS/DEL functionailty things
should work as expected.

And KFM for Windows MacOS_X OS-halves/eCS especially with my ACL
interface will blow out the brains of Billy and the twin Steves.
Especially Billy who hates security and the confidentiality and
integrity of the private data of his licence-takers will be blown away
by such an easy way to kill the execute privilege he so dearly wants
applied system-wide to everyone so ``LoveLetter´´ & Co. can wreak havoc
in the Internet.

This ACL interface much improved beyond the clumsy AIX ``aclget´´
``aclput´´ and ``acledit´´ interface commands who is trained to
``vi´´(?) is put under GPL so neither Billy nor one of the Steves can
put their heavy proprietary hands on this.

Kind regards

Norbert Grün (gnor@x-mail.net)
