When login screen appears and I mistype my password I don't want to use backspace button.
I would like to use CTRL + U shortcut to clear it at once exactly as it works in KDM.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter your password in the password field at login screen
2. Press CTRL + U to clear the field
3.

Actual Results:  
The password field didn't clear

Expected Results:  
Clear the password field

Looks like a Qt bug. Interestingly enough, when I click the "Clear (Ctrl+U)" option in the context menu it clears the menu. Subsequent key presses to said combination also clear it. It's just that initially it does not work for some reason.

This has been fixed for Qt 5.6
