Description Tore Havn 2015-11-16 22:20:27 UTC
The items initially gotten from Google were duplicated both in Calendars and in Tasklist. It can be fixed by clicking Reload for each list. Not sure if it was a visual glitch or an actual data problem.

This also happens if I right click the Google account calendar and select Calendar Properties (which brings up the Akonadi Resource dialog). Again, clicking Refresh removes the duplicates.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a Google calendar/account in KOrganizer.
2. After logging in and getting the token, the Akonadi Resource dialog shows the calendars and task lists available on this account.

Actual Results:
The calendar and task list items are duplicated.

Expected Results:
Should not be duplicated.

This bug has never been confirmed for a Kontact version that is based on KDE Frameworks, except possibly a Technology Preview version 5.0.x. Those versions differ significantly from the old 4.x series. Therefore, I plan to close it in around two or three months. In the meantime, it is set to WAITINGFORINFO to give reporters the opportunity to check if it is still valid. As soon as someone confirms it for a recent version (at least 5.1, ideally even more recent), I'll gladly reopen it.

Please understand that we lack the manpower to triage bugs reported for versions almost two years beyond their end of life.

I've dropped Google in favour of Kolab, so I can't test this anymore.

However, I do not have this problem with my curreny setup, with version 5.5.3 on KDE neon User Edition, and a synced Kolab resource. :-)
