Description OlafLostViking 2015-11-16 11:06:53 UTC
OMEMO tries to bring easy, mass compatible (like OTR, unlike GPG) encryption including multi-device capabilities and offline chats (like GPG, unlike OTR) to XMPP chat. It would be great if KDE Telepathy would become compatible to Conversations for chatting and transferring files! The messages should be stored in a readable form in the local log, too :)

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for the report

As OMEMO is done as an XEP, this would have to be
implemented in the XMPP part, which is telepathy-gabble.

Gabble is an upstream project however that is currently
quite unmaintained. This bug would have to be filed at
http://bugs.freedesktop.org in product telepathy and
component gabble. Though I wouldn't expect much from
that.

Sorry.
