Description Rajinder Yadav 2015-11-15 22:16:52 UTC
For no reason the task manager widget was removed from my taskbar, I was confused for the longest time why I was not able to switch between or open close windows.

This either happened after a reboot or coming out of ram sleep mode overnight.
I am using kubuntu 15.10

Reproducible: Always

It's happen again, taskbar was working then it totally disappeared for a long while and it came back up. It seems something is causing it not to respond.

I also had the taskbar open, I clicked on it the menu popped open and these it froze along with the entire system. Everything was visible, the mouse was working but nothing could be clicked on. In this case I how to do a cold reboot.

In my previous statement, when the taskbar totally disappeared, I was able to use opened windows normally, minimize them and open them up using this ALT + TAB

Has this happened before? If not, do you remember if you updated anything or anything of that nature before it stopped working?

Thank you for the persistence.

Is this still happening?

I don't recall, but this could have resulted after upgrading and my old config setting causing the problem.

I have not seen this issue with recent releases.
