Just a +1 for these changes.
Luigi you're the kdoctools maintainer, what do you think?
Yes, I think it should be fixed. In fact messages are marked with QCoreApplication::translate, but the messages are not extracted. Given that some messages are used by the (ugly and for now static) library used by KIO, I guess I need to extracted the messages to a different po file (which can be used for Qt-only bits of kdoctools). I remember that we can have only one Qt-style po file per framework, but is there anything which prevents having additional "i18n-style" po-files?
I'm confused by "messages are marked with QCoreApplication::translate", isn't this just a patch to a docbook file?
Sorry, I mixed up the emails. Ok, I have few comments about the changes. - I prefer to expand KF5 ("KDE Frameworks 5" or simply "Frameworks 5") - not sure about "User's Manual" at all. One is "Common options for Qt5 applications", the other "Common options for Frameworks 5 applications" (not sure now about camel cases too) - the truth is that both files would need a more complete recheck, I'm sure that some options are not valid anymore. - changes like missing dots at the end of sentence can go immediately of course - can we discuss on reviewboard?
Antoni?
I agree with Luigi. But, I think you can apply all into KDE4 (for the web) and KF5 (awaiting improvement). +1 for "KDE Frameworks 5"
Sorry for the long delay. The two man pages have been updated to the real options available for Qt 5 and (most of) Frameworks 5 applications, so the patch does not apply anymore. Nevertheless, the issues highlighted (lack of missing dots at the end of sentences and search for better titles for the man pages) have been addressed in the last changes in the current master and which will be released as part of the upcoming Frameworks 5.24.
