My "Favourites" list is filling up quickly, while the "Recent Applications" list is nearly empty. As such, I'd prefer that the Application Dashboard gives more screen real-estate to the former (in my case). It'd be good to have a settings option that lets the user specify how many icon columns are given to the "Favourites" list. Some will want (the current) three, while others (like myself) would prefer four or five. Reproducible: Always
I thought about making this configurable with a draggable splitter handle in a future version.
Yep, that could be a more intuitive way to do it. I guess it all depends on how obvious the splitter is to the user. You wouldn't want them not to notice its existence.
Mouse cursor change + some sort of delayed hover effect should do the trick.
