timeout on server error appear when I put in the address  smb://192.168.1.2, when with, for example with krusader, it works perfectly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.put smb://192.168.1.2 or other smb share
2.press enter
3.after few time timeout on server error appear

Actual Results:  
time timeout on server error appear

Expected Results:  
smb://192.168.1.2 share tree appear

I tried with krusader and the same address works

Thanks for the bug report.

1. What is your Dolphin version (look at the "About" dialog or run dolphin --version on the command line)

2. Do you see the same problem if you enter that URL in the file dialog of, e.g., KWrite?

hi, my dolphin version is:
Qt: 4.8.6
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.9
Dolphin: 15.04.0

today it works on dolphin
if you for "file dialog" intend in the dialog to open a file from kwrite, yes, today it works also here, but I don't know if it works when in dolphin it doesn't works, I will try kwrite dialog when dolphin will fail

hi, today dolphin doesn't works and give the timeout on server error.
I tried with krusader and it works.
I tried with kwrite file dialog (in kwrite file>open) and it works.

Thanks for the update. I'll reassign to the smb kioslave, which is responsible for the communication with the server.

Works for me in KDE Frameworks 5.47.
