Panorama reports "pto2mk" to be missing. It's supposed to be part of the "hugin" package. However, the current version of hugin doesn't provide "pto2mk" any more, but uses other names. Either kipiplugin should be enabled to use different versions of hugin, or set to use only the current version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start Panorama tool Actual Results: reports pto2mk missing Expected Results: should pass on to create a panorama The problem has been confirmed on the digikam mailing list by Gilles.
Note : - With Hugin 2014.0, all components are found but pano compilation do a mess and finally do not work - With Hugin 2013.0, all work fine as expected. So the Panorama tool is only fully compatible with Hugin 2013.0 for the moment. Gilles Caulier
Martin: Please search for already filed bug reports before reporting a new bug report. Gilles: I'm still waiting for the exact meaning of "a mess", and I'm pretty sure Hugin 2014.0 was working fine with the panorama plugin on my computer. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 351433 ***
I was searching, but didn't find it. Sometimes it's hard to find the right words to look for... Still I have the problem, and don't know how to revert back to hugin 2014 on my system, but will try to figure it out.
Instead of reverting, you can also use Hugin GUI for the moment (this is what I'm doing). You will loose the integration with digiKam and you will need to develop your raws beforehand, but their assistant has improved a lot over the past few years and you should be able to produce a panorama in just three clicks. As for the bug reports, you can use the "advanced search" (on the top of the page), and restrict your search to kipiplugins (Product) and panorama (Component). This is applicable for any other product / component. Out of curiosity, what keyword did you try when searching for a duplicate? (I can change the title of the original bug report to make it easier to find, but to do that I need to understand how users are searching.)
I'll give the GUI a try. I guess I have searched for the terms you find in the header. I realise I should have used for the pto... filename, that would have found it. But that didn't occur to me. Sorry.
