Hi Dan, Thanks for your report. I'm looking into the issue, but I'm afraid I cannot reproduce it on my laptop. It might need testing with an actual stylus, but I haven't got one with me on the train.
Hi Boudewijn! Thank you for fixing that bug with the text tool. I use krita always with a tablet, but I tested it with a mouse and realized that the problem also occurs.
@Boudewijn, Hi, I managed to resolve this issue by modifying and restoring the presets. I do not know what was causing the lag, but now everything is ok. To try to help figure out the source of the problem, the lag appeared to me after version 2.9.6.3 Thanks!!

Hi, Dan! I think the bug is now fixed in Krita 3.0. Now we compress all the non-painting events for both mouse and tablet events :) Please test the newest update: http://files.kde.org/krita/3/windows/devbuilds/krita-master-5bd8323-x64.zip If the issue persists, please reopen this bug :)
Hi Dmitry! The lag persists.. :( For me.. the only solution is to overrite the presets. In my presets I changed 3-rock-shooth.png for 15_texture-rockB.png.
