When I use KDialog - for example if a website asks me to upload a file, or an application (in this case SpiderOak) uses it to open a window, I am unable to use the dialogue box that appears. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use the upload image feature on websites or any program which uses kdialog 2. The window is non-functional - unable to change directories and can only access files by typing their filename if they are within the current directory it's showing (which is how I uploaded the image). No buttons are shown to select/cancel either. Actual Results: Fuzzy text, unable to navigate, can't see folder structure, no buttons Expected Results: Regular KDialog window I'm able to use Dolphin normally to browse files/folders without a problem, it only seems to be when I have to upload a file or use something which makes use of KDialog I guess. I've given as much info as I'm able but if there's anything else to help the process please give me clear (think child-level knowledge of command line) instructions and I'll do my best!
Created attachment 95290 [details] KDialog started from bash I have the same problem. Command for reproduction: "kdialog --getopenfilename test" All dialogs become useless
Also, *Sometimes* when I restart, the dialogue boxes become usable again, but then at a later date, back to not being able to use them.
Kdialog doesn't seem to be the only problem. This looks very similar: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354574
I'm unable to reproduce this issue on the latest version of kdialog. Can you please confirm if this is still occurring for you, thanks.
