I am running highly optimized Gentoo (-O3 + many non-default settings leaning towards GLES2 accelerated Plasma). With qtgraphicssystem set to opengl I get a bunch of BadWindow X errors and never get to see the program window. As soon as I switched to raster qtgraphics, okular opened immediately. I am sorry to say that getting a meaningful backtrace would take a lot of time for me, as I would have to recompile a bunch of big libraries and my computer is just a bottom-shelf laptop. On the other hand, if changing the qtgraphicssystem is not the crash only condition, I am open to testing the other configuration customizations to find the offending combination. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set qtgraphicssystem to opengl. 2. Run okular in a terminal. Actual Results: Crash. Expected Results: Start normally.
We really need a bactkrace or a better way to reproduce than "i have this weird setup in which okular crashes"
