When the mouse cursor hovers over the desktop switcher or the taskbar a popup comes up that has information on the desktop or a preview of the window. But when the mouse moves away, or the desktop switches while hovering, the preview doesn't always go away and stays there until the mouse cursor is moved back. Reproducible: Always
I have the same problem, it also occurs when hovering and switching (alt+tab) to a fullscreen application. The preview stays visible until one hovers over the application in the taskbar again and moves out of it. I cannot successfully reproduce the issue though.
The most useful thing would be a quick 10 second video. Do either of you think you could do that?
Created attachment 96422 [details] Quick video showing the bug in action Video description: I click on the Kontact icon, then move the mouse cursor over Iceweasel (without clicking) icon and then move it over the wallpaper. After a few seconds, description over Iceweasel disappears, but the icon is still hovered. Everything on a newly created account, Plasma 5.4.3, Debian testing. I think it's easier to reproduce this bug when running a heavier application or when I have many running tasks (many windows opened). But that's probably not a rule. Sometimes there's no description box, only the [clicked/hovered] icon stays hovered.
Should be fixed with Plasma Frameworks 5.18 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 356938 ***
