Run command kdesu konsole Actual Results: Konsole window not showing anywhere Expected Results: Konsole window with root. Application may misbehave. [tomasz@arch ~]$ QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root' Other apps like kate dolphin etc working fine with kdesu command. I have many similar errors: kwin_x11[2383]: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 25280, resource id: 30043036, major code: 3 (GetWindowAttributes), minor code: 0 in journal too. NOTE: konsole-kde4 from AUR is NOT affected this issue and kdesu konsole open window fine. Other previous konsole releases based on KF5 are affected, IMO this is something with kf5 packages directly instead of konsole itself.
