Description spamtrap 2015-10-23 15:00:56 UTC
Set desktop to folder view.
Set multiple virtual desktops.
Create file on ~/Desktop or wherever your desktop folder view points to.
Right click on this file on the desktop an select "Move to Trash" or "Delete".

All other virtual desktops are now completely black: no task bar, no desktop, only the applications that were on the desktop before.

Nothing can resurrect the broken desktops. Changing the number of virtual desktops to 1 and then back to any other number will still only show black.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set desktop to folder view.
Set multiple virtual desktops.
Create file on ~/Desktop or wherever your desktop folder view points to.
Right click on this file on the desktop an select "Move to Trash" or "Delete".

Actual Results:
All other virtual desktops are now completely black: no task bar, no desktop, only the applications that were on the desktop before.

Due to this bug, the folder view cannot be used with multiple desktops. If you accidentally delete a file on the desktop, you have to logout and log back in again.

I have therefore set the severity to "grave".
