Description Guo Yunhe 2015-10-23 07:44:08 UTC
When I adjust my system volume with KMix, Amarok sound volume is always higher than system sound volume.

System: 5% -> Amarok 7%
System: 10% -> Amarok 14%
System: 15% -> Amarok 21%
System: 20% -> Amarok 28%
System: 25% -> Amarok 35%
...

I tried to control with keyboard function keys and KMix widget. They have the same result.

When I monitor the sound volume slider in KMix, I found the displayed sound level are the same, when system slider is 7/10 (~70%), Amarok slider is also 7/10, but in Amarok, it shows sound level 100%.

This has a small disadvantage. When I watched a video (sound level 20%) and switch back to Amarok, I have to manually lower the sound volume (sound level 15%, so amarok sound level 21%)

Other applications, VLC, Firefox, Chromium, video games, will be automatically limited, so their sound volume will always the same or lower than system volume. But Amarok is a special case.

Reproducible: Always
