Description Nicolás Alvarez 2015-10-20 14:25:10 UTC
If I have any context menu open in the Konversation window, when a message arrives and shows the OSD popup, the context menu is closed.

This only happens if the context menu is in the Konversation process; context menus from other applications are not closed.

Qt4, X11.

I've just tested this Nicolás but I can't replicate the issue.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved.

I have set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thank you.

I can still reproduce.

1. Enable On-Screen Display for "any channel messages"
2. Be in at least one channel that is getting frequent messages so you don't have to wait a lot :)
3. Select a *different* tab, maybe the server tab (the OSD doesn't appear for messages received in the currently selected channel tab, which makes a lot of sense, you're already reading that)
4. Right click the text input field, context menu appears
5. Wait for a channel to receive a message
6. OSD appears, context menu closes

I now noticed this happens for top-level menus too (eg. Preferences), not just the right click one.

Confirmed still occurring, moved to reported status for investigation.
