Simpferopol/Crimea is not Russia! Simpferopol/Crimea is Ukraine! 

Kubuntu 14.04, KDE  4.14.2

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Time zone settings
2. Search Simferopol

Actual Results:  
Simferopol Europe/Russia

Expected Results:  
Simferopol Europe/Ukraine

Your program may be subject to European sanctions. Since Crimea is Ukraine!

The information in the time zone settings widget comes from the system time zone database (zone.tab), which is not a part of KDE.

You will have to direct your complaint to IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority), which maintains that database.
