Description Manga Tengu 2015-10-03 21:08:09 UTC
The more my cursor goes to the right, the more the offset of the cursor is visible and disturbing.
The outline shape stays just fine. But the cursor shape offsets to the right of my screen.
(see url, shows a photo of it, as windows erases cursors from screenshots).

This only happens with my intuos 5.
Cintiq and Mouse work just fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.select brush
2.configure an outline shape preview + cursor shape
3.hover over your intuos 5 with stylus

Actual Results:
cursor offset to the right of the outline shape and stroke
outline shape is fine and consistent with the stroke

Expected Results:
cursor should stay in the middle

windows 7 pro 64 bits

Hum, if the cintiq is fine, then I cannot really explain this... I cannot reproduce it with my intuos 3 or cintiq, and I haven't got the intuos 5 around.

Hi, Manga!

Could you answer a couple of questions?

1) Does the offset depend on the brush speed? Or it happens even when the cursor stands still?
2) Does the offset depends on the position on the monitor? E.g. on the top-left part the offset is small and at the bottom-right the offset is big?
3) Do you use multi-monitor setup?

Hi Dmitry !

Sure !

1) I took the attached photo in a static context. (http://ibin.co/2HoJasUPtI10)
No speed involved.
2)Yes it depends. At the right it's really offset. At the left it looks normal
3)Yes multi monitor settings :
Two monitors organized side to side. the alignment is good on the left of the left monitor. And more and and more wrong as I go right.

Manga Tengu, have you gone through this yet: https://userbase.kde.org/Krita/Manual/FAQ#How_to_fix_a_tablet_offset_on_screen_on_Windows ?

Wolthera

First, often when I boot, my wacom drivers just don't load and I have to reboot. In that case obviously I don't have pen presure but cursor and brush shape are perfectly aligned.

So...following your procedure I have got 3 options. Unfortunately none of them work.

None of them work? Weird.

Could you check if this still happens with the 3.0 pre-alpha? You can find it in the news posts.
