In systemsettings, I enabled the checkbox "Configure layouts" and added the keyboard "German (eliminate dead keys)" as only available layout. However, sometimes, when the machine comes back from system suspend, the layout resets to plain "German", i.e., with dead keys enabled. I then have to go to systemsettings, make some change in the keyboard configuration (so that the "Apply" button becomes enabled), and hit "Apply" - to fix my keyboard layout. Reproducible: Sometimes This is a regression compared to KDE4, where I never saw this happen. Note that I have no idea which product kcm_keyboard.so belongs to. It is packaged in plasma-desktop in Debian, that was the only hint I had... I also don't know who or what is reseting the keyboard layout. If there's anything I can do to debug this, please let me know.
