I am using telepathy 15.08-1-1 in Archlinux. When I am disconnected from the internet the "Instant messaging" applet in Plasma 5 shell shows that it's trying to go online, and ksysguard shows that the "plasmashell" process is consuming 40-45% CPU. I found no other way to stop this except for killing the "mission-control-5" process. It would be convenient if there were an option in the applet to make telepathy inactive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set up a new chat account from system settings using the telepathy kcm option "online accounts" 2.Disconnect yourself from the internet Actual Results: I cannot in any way turn off telepathy from the "Instant messaging" applet. Expected Results: I should be able to turn it off by selecting offline in my instant messaging presence setting.
