Description dzert127 2015-09-23 15:30:32 UTC
When I add timer widget to panel in doesn't display timer (as it was in KDE4) but only activator.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Drop timer widget on panel.

Actual Results:
Activator is added.

Expected Results:
Timer itself should be added.

I think this is a repeat of the bug I would like to report. Let me rephrase.

When I add the timer plasmoid to the desktop, it displays the remaining time. When I add it to the panel, it shows only a static icon org.kde.plasma.timer.

I believe this could be fixed by using the compactRepresentation/fullRepresentation properties.

I cannot reproduce this, instead I get a tiny representation of the timer when in the panel as in bug 321507.

Yes, the activator isn't shown any more on my panel too, only this tiny representation. This issue must have been fixed.
However it is still unusable in panel as in the bug you mentioned.
