The panel popup (the thing that slides up in the bottom-right corner when I click, for example, the networking icon) is pretty small: On my 24" full-HD screen, it uses <10% of the screen space. This means, for example, that ~6 networks are visible at the same time in the Plasma-NM widget. That's not much, and much less than previously with KDE4. Having to search something with such a small "window", and so much unused space around, is pretty sad. So, maybe it would be useful to make that widget resizable, so that I can make better use of all my screen space. Or maybe the widget could automatically become larger on larger screens. Reproducible: Always
Please no automatic. There are people who love to have small desktop elements on a huge screen and people who love (or need) to have huge desktop elements on a small screen... All widgets with a pin can be resized with pressed Alt key and right mouse key. Not obvious but works. Alas not all popup widgets have a pin... If they would and if there would be some hint how to resize it would be of great help.
