When I write an email in the editor the editor has a default spell checker for the language "Deutsch" (German). However, this one does not check anything. I always have to manually change it to "Deutsch (Deutschland)" (via Einstellungen -> Rechtschreibprüfung ...) for every single email I write. That is annoying. in the setup of Kmail is the opportunity to set up a default language (Kmai einrichten -> E-Mail Editor -> Autokerrektur). Unfortunately, the choice is "Deutsch" only and not "Deutsch (Deutschland)". Cheers, gl Reproducible: Always Expected Results: use correct spell chaecker
It uses identity settings for it. Please modify it in identity. Regards
"in the setup of Kmail is the opportunity to set up a default language (Kmai einrichten -> E-Mail Editor -> Autokerrektur). Unfortunately, the choice is "Deutsch" only and not "Deutsch (Deutschland)"." it never used so I need to hide this settings.
Great, it seems to work. Yes, might be a good idea to hide the settings in "Kmail einrichten -> E-Mail Editor -> Autokerrektur" (Kmail setup -> Email Editor -> auto correction), as it is misleading. Thanks a lot, gl
