When selecting application or command to run from KRunner, the user should be given an option to run the application as another user (as was possible in KDE 4) Reproducible: Always This is a regression from KDE 4
We could theoretically add an additional runner action (button to the right of the entry) that yields a dialog for that but I'm not sure we should expose that in the UI that easily. Why would you want to run an application as another user?

Still no option to run as another user in KRunner. My use case was that I had two accounts for better data separation: work user and home user. And I used the feature for launching apps from the other user into current "workspace". Thanks.
> I'm not sure we should expose that in the UI that easily Yep, most users won't need this functionality so it would only be confusing.
