Description William Termini 2015-09-20 06:48:49 UTC
Sometimes when I move my Virtual Desktops with the pager, the desktop view does not move and all the icons and wallpaper are still on the other Virtual Desktop leaving me with a black screen.

It only happens on my primary display the second one operates normally. This happens on both my Laptop and Desktop running Plasma 5.4.1 on Arch Linux.

It started after the upgrade to Plasma 5.4.

My current solution is to kill and relaunch plasmashell.

          mouse in that window.

So it happened again and I gathered some info for you

Black Screen output from xwininfo

xwininfo: Window id: 0x2c6 (the root window) (has no name)

  Window manager hints:
      Process id: (unknown)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

xwininfo from Desktop 1 which is still displaying the desktop view

xwininfo: Window id: 0x2a00010 "Desktop — Plasma"

  Window manager hints:
Client accepts input or input focus: Yes
      Initial state is Normal State
      Displayed on desktop 1
      Window type:
          Desktop
      Window state:
          Below
      Process id: 10143

The Displayed on all desktops changed automatically to display on desktop 1, not sure why my secondary desktop display is as normal.
