Description Maxim Doucet 2015-09-18 10:47:28 UTC
On the linux (centos 6) 2.9.7 version of krita, the icons in the dock are difficult to see when using the "Krita Dark" theme (which is the default theme).

Please have a look at the attached screenshot "".

In comparison, the windows build of 2.9.7 inverts the color of these icons with the same dark theme.

It would be nice, for readability, to invert the icons color like on windows.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch krita linux 2.9.7 (centos 6 build)

Actual Results:
Check the icons color: they are dark and difficult to see

Expected Results:
Have inverted colors so that the icons have a brighter look, like on windows.

The problem is that CentOS has Qt 4.6, which doesn't support the name() method for the QIcon class... So we cannot switch them automatically like we do when there's a newer Qt available!

Does this still happen with the 3.0 pre-alpha?

No, with 3.0 this is fixed :-)
