Added example screenshot. In my opinion, the avatar makes it easier to find mails in the list at first glance. (77.49 KB, image/png)

Description Emil Sedgh 2015-09-08 20:38:48 UTC
it would be great if Message list themes get the ability to show user avatar.
Could make KMail much more visually appealing and helpful, considering the new gravatar support.

Reproducible: Always

message list theme ?
What is it ?
in viewer ?
or list of mail ?
Comment 2 Emil Sedgh 2015-10-08 21:37:49 UTC
I meant list of mail.
And that tool you can use to create new themes for it with drag&dropping widgets/columns.

If I understand this wish correctly, you'd like to see a small avatar in each message line of the message viewer that is associated with the sender of that message, and a way to place this avatar in the message list theme editor in "Settings -> Configure KMail... -> Appearance -> Message list -> Default theme -> Configure...", right?

In this case: still valid for 5.4.1.

As an example just have a look on eM Client. There the message list has a separate column showing the gravatar of the sender.
