It would be useful if contactlist applet would search also for offline contacts, just like contact-list application does. E.g. using the applet I cannot drop an offline message or send a message to a contact who is always invisible; I have to launch stand-alone application to do so. Reproducible: Always (version actually is 15.08, but bugzilla didn't allow me to pick it)
Created attachment 94496 [details] proposed patch Works as expected: doesn't show offline users only when search field is empty. Makes applet much more usable to me.
