It's more a wish I guess: It would be great to easily move from the selecting tool (which I use most of the time) to the navigation tool (to activate links) without going to the menus. For instance with a CTRL+Click. Maybe it can already be done. If so, please tell me how, because I didn't find it. Thx! Reproducible: Always
You can set shortcuts to change tools already, they are even set. The tools menu will tell you the shortcuts used and in Settings->Configure Shortcuts you can change them

Ok, you are right, it's exactly this behaviour I was looking for. I wasn't specific enough
