Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2015-09-06 17:40:37 UTC
When manually sorting task manager entries by dragging them around, the ones that were displaced don't update their minimize geometry causing KWin to animate to the wrong item.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have two windows in your task bar, A and B
2. Configure it to sort: "Manually"
3. Drag B over A, so they swap position
4. Minimize B and A

Actual Results:
Window B minimizes to the correct, new, left position
Window A minimizes to the now obsolete left position, instead of the right

Expected Results:
Window B minimizes to the correct, new, left position
Window A minimizes to the correct, new, right position

It seems only the item that actively moved updates its minimize geometry, not the ones that were displaced by others.

I can't reproduce this. The entire geometries are republished whenever the task list finishes animating. Do you have animations turned off somehow?
