Launched kompare from krusader.

If I open the menu Settings -> Configure Kompare and change the Diff -> Tab Options -> Whitespace Options + Apply or OK the according settings are neither applied currently (after doing Refresh Diff) nor saved. The changes made in the settings do not reappear after reopening Kompare

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compare two files from Krusader with Kompare as the diff application.
2. Open Settings -> Configure Kompare and change the Diff -> Tab Options -> Whitespace Options
3. Change some options and press OK or Apply

Actual Results:  
The changes do not apply immediately.
The changes are not saved permanently.

Expected Results:  
The changes made in Settings should apply immediately.
The changes should be saved permanently.

Works as expected in version 4.1.3 Using:
- KDE Frameworks 5.14.0
- Qt 5.4.2 (built against 5.4.2)
