Distro package version: 15.08.0-2 Occurred after a recent update to 5.4 (which changed or added pulseaudio)? The volume controls were working fine previously but now the event volume jumps up to 100% after first system event after start up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. reboot 2. open up dolphin and create an empty file 3. delete the file (which throws up a confirm dialog with a system sound) Actual Results: Step 3 will cause the volume to jump to 100%. I've disabled flat volumes in pulse audio's config but this issue still persists. Expected Results: Not adjust the volume settings, ever. I use headphones and now I have to be careful about the volume if I don't want to blow up my ears. The new mixer stuff in general doesn't seem ready yet because breaks or otherwise hinders functionality that was perfectly fine before.
