I would be nice to have Ark as an MDI application, so, when someone opens more than one compressed/archived files it's inside the same app. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an archive
2. Open a second one. A new instance of the application is started


Actual Results:  
Only one instance of the application should exist. 

Expected Results:  
Only one instance of the application should exist.

But how would each archive be displayed? With tabs or something else?

Tabs is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Confirming this wish...
We could do what Okular does: offer a setting to enable/disable the tabs.

Interesting that 5-6 years later, we are still with a very basic application. I still wish to have MDI/Tabs support in Ark
