Description Ryan Babchishin 2015-09-03 04:54:42 UTC
kffmpegthumbnailer is not working and does not appear in the list under General->Previews. There is no option to thumbnail videos, thus I have no video thumbnails. Image thumbnails work. Was working in KDE 5.3 but not after upgrade to 5.4 from kubuntu-ci weekly unstable. Dolphin version 15.08.0.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure kffmpegthumbnailer is installed
2. Try to enable via Control -> Configure Dolphin -> General -> Previews, you will see no option for video
3. In dolphin, open a folder that contains videos
4. Click preview button if not already enabled
5. You should see icons rather than thumbnails of all videos

Actual Results:
No video thumbnails, just icons.

Expected Results:
Should see video thumbnails, similar to image thumbnails.

I also have mplayerthumbs and it's not showing up either.
