Description Kane 2015-09-03 01:19:42 UTC
My brush / cursor simply does not appear on the canvas, restarting the application does nothing. This occurred while I was selecting brushes to try, as I just downloaded this program to fiddle with it and figure it out.

Reproducible: Always

Hi Kane,

This could be an issue with the combination of your graphics/card driver and Krita. Could you check by going to settings/configure krita/display and disabling OpenGL?

I am having the same issue and am working in a Mac OSX 10.9.5 I checked for the OpenGL and that is already disabled.

I'm using a Wacom Intuos Art tablet on a Windows 10 machine. For me the cursor disappears from the canvas at random. Sometimes it will return and sometimes not, and I'm not sure what I'm doing to make it return. What I noticed most recently is that while the canvas and "art area" around the canvas has no cursor, the menus across the top and left of the screen still did display the cursor and operated normally.

As far as I can tell, Open GL is disabled by default in my Krita settings.

Wanted to add that I just discovered that when I right-click on the canvas, the presets wheel comes up just fine, and then the cursor is visible everywhere - but as soon as I close the wheel, I get one pixel of color and no cursor again.

Updating my drivers seems to have helped for the time being; if the bug resurfaces I will e sure to report it.
