Auto select- much easier to simply click the layer on the screen than find it by name and select it manually - nice touch would be to select more layers by clicking them on working surface (using ctrl or something) - If we are able to select multiple layers in layers section why not be able to add multiple selected layers in a group? (right click/add all layers to group) Reproducible: Always
Hi, You can select layers by pressing R and then clicking on a bit of exposed content on the canvas. You can drag and drop multiple selected layers into a group. For the other issues, improving working with multiple layer selections was a stretch goal selected in the last kickstarter: https://phabricator.kde.org/T105
