I don't know if there's something wrong with my ~/.*profile configuration I use since years, but this only happened after the update to either KDE Frameworks 5.13.0 or Plasma 5.4. The problem only occurs if I've a ~/.zprofile sourcing ~/.profile. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use ZSH as shell 2. Add a ~/.zprofile which sources ~/.profile: if [[ -r ~/.profile ]]; then emulate sh -c 'source ~/.profile' fi 3. Try to login Actual Results: Plasma login takes several minutes and after that time *only* KWin is started. You get a black background and the mouse cursor. Expected Results: Plasma shows up successful. KDE Frameworks 5.13.0 Plasma 5.4.0
The command that brokes it is: eval $(dircolors ~/.dir_colors) I moved that code to ~/.zshrc instead and everything works, but if I move it back to ~/.zprofile plasma breaks.
Is this still an issue? Especially with Plasma 5.17 with the startkde rewrite?
