In the touchpad system settings, changing the three fingers setting has no effect. A three finger click on the touchpad gives a left-click when I set it for middle click or right click. Running synclient in the terminal shows the ClickFinger3 setting as 0. I am on a ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2, if that helps, with a fresh install of Kubuntu 15.04.
Still not working on 16.04. Also, the Corners settings on the same application window aren't working.
Can you confirm the input driver used? Use `xlsatoms|grep -i tap`.

Hello! This bug report concerns the Synaptics version of the Touchpad page, which is no longer supported in Plasma 6. Can you please see if the issue still happens when using Libinput? If so, please change the status back to "REPORTED." If not, go ahead and change it to "RESOLVED FIXED", or let the bot do it automatically after a month. Thanks!
