Starting in plasma 5, clock hands rotate around the end of the hand object in the SVG.  But in plasma 4, hands rotated around the middle of clock.  You can see the difference by looking at the Oxygen Clock in Plasma 4, where the hands cross the middle of the clock, resulting in the end of minute hand pointing at the numbers; versus the same clock in Plasma 5, where the minute hand ends in the middle, and crosses the numbers.

The problem is particularly noticable on the second hand, which comes close to overflowing the clock face.
