When I open KUrlRequester for the second time to select a file or whatever, it freezes the whole UI and doesn't respond at all. All I can do is to kill the certain application where the problem happened. 

This is reproducible easily in kde5-nm-connection-editor when selecting a certificate for WPA2 Enterprise or for any VPN connection, but also in KCM for notifications when selecting a file for logging.

Frameworks version: 5.13

I cannot reproduce it using ./kio/tests/kurlrequestertest_gui, we probably need more information.

I cannot reproduce it now using KF5 5.16 and Qt 5.5.0.

Me neither with Frameworks 5.50. Let's re-open this if we get any more recent reports.
