If battery gets critical the system does not shutdown (like chosen in systemsettigs). There is a warning-information, but no action. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. never worked 2. Samsung N130 3. shutdown (after the warning to save the data)
Found a workaround: In systemsettins (can do it only in german, because my system is german, sorry): Anwendungen und Systembenachrichtigungen -> Benachrichtigungen verwalten -> Anwendungen -> Benachrichtigungen des KDE-Energieverwaltungssytems -> Akkuladestand kritisch: (Haken bei) Programm ausführen: /sbin/shutdown -h -P now If system gets to battery critical, the system will shut down (now).
Can you still reproduce this issue?
cannot confirm on my laptop running neon dev unstable. When the battery reaches critical level, plasma shows a notification to warn that the laptop will turn off in 60 seconds. "Cancel" button is available in the notification.
