Description Patryk Benderz 2015-07-29 15:06:11 UTC
Application: krusader (2.4.0-beta3 "Single Step")
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.6
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.19.0-25-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 15.04

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
This is reproducible:
1)In crusader start two FTP sesions to two different FTP servers in left and right tab
2)MOVE big file between these servers
3)MOVE operation goes to 100% but progress window hangs after that
4)Press cancel button, to close window with progress info
5)Watch Krusader "falling into pieces" ;)

- Custom settings of the application:
A lot. I made it look behave like MidnightCommander. F2-F10 key shortcuts as in MC. Colour schema as in MC. Krusader is installed on Ubuntu 15.04

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Do you have a way to make a test with another program? I think the problem is related to KIO; Krusader crashes because he don't like what kio job returns.
Comment 2 Alex Bikadorov 2018-05-12 19:02:46 UTC
Please try again with Krusader 2.5 or higher.
Comment 3 Patryk Benderz 2018-05-14 15:16:10 UTC
Tested with:
Krusader 2.6.0 "Stiff Challenges"
File size 349.8 MB
File was transfered correctly, no failure occurred. Unfortunately I do not remember how big was the file that made it crash.
I think this issue can be closed.
Comment 4 Alex Bikadorov 2018-05-14 18:20:29 UTC
Thanks for testing and letting us know.
Probably fixed in KIO.
